A town located almost on the border with neighbouring Poland. Meziměstí includes the villages of Březová, Ruprechtice, Starostín and Vižňov. In the cadastre of Ruprechtice and Vižňov there are two more Baroque churches that form part of the Broumov Group of Churches. The town is also home to the highest point in the Náchod region -
Ruprechtice Špičák (880 m above sea level), with a lookout tower. The Walzel Leisure Centre was recently opened next to the town hall in the town centre. There is also a Benedictine chateau in the town, which is now privately owned
