The Adršpach Rocks are traditionally accessible even during the winter season. It depends solely on the weather whether the entire area can be visited, or only its oldest part, the so-called “Old Section” (from the entrance to the Small Waterfall). Under a blanket of snow, the rock formations take on a completely different appearance, and a walk among them feels truly fairytale-like. The waterfalls are hidden beneath ice, the rocks are covered in frost and wrapped in snowy quilts, as if an evil wizard had cast a spell on them for the winter. The only place that is inaccessible in winter is the Rock Lake, where boats operate during the summer season. The lake is drained for the winter months. On the other hand, the lake in the former sandstone quarry just beyond the entrance ticket office can be admired in its full beauty in any weather. Winter does not attract as many visitors to the Adršpach Rocks as the summer months do. You will experience silence, solitude, and a deep sense of peace here, just like throughout the entire Broumovsko region. Since April 1, 2021, a reservation system has been in place for entry to the Adršpach Rocks. Tickets and, if needed, parking reservations must be purchased online at www.adrspasskeskaly.cz

You can extend the Adršpach Rocks circuit, for example, to Křížový vrch, from which there are beautiful views of the rock city, the Mirošov Walls, the Javoří Mountains, the Soví Mountains, and the Krkonoše Mountains. A link to the route can be found in the top infobox.
